In May 1992, John Sculley, CEO of Apple, introduced the public Newton NotePad – a prototype of the future of the famous Newton MessagePad. Since then, the world of pocket computers were divided into two parts: on the one hand were handhelds with a keyboard on the other – the device type MessagePad, focused on hand-written text input (produced, of course, and the combined device).
