MTS first introduced into commercial service network of 3G (from the English. Thirdgeneration, «third generation”) once in four cities: Saint Petersburg, Kazan, Yekaterinburg and Sochi in May 2008. Today the network of “third generation” of working in all federal districts of Russia: in the Urals, the Far East, Siberia, in the South, North-West, in the Volga region and in the Central Federal District.
